Hiten is the managing director of Pharmaplus. He is also on the NPA Board of directors and represents its members in North West London area. He has been a pharmacist for over 40 years and has a substantial amount of experience in community pharmacy. He is a director of a pharmacy in West Ealing, is Chairman of Ealing, Hammersmith, Hounslow LPC and also Chairman of Middlesex group of LPCs (representing over 550 contractors). He was a founding Board member of Pharmacy Voice. He is also a member of the European Pharmacy Forum (EPF).
Hiten believes in closer co-operation and integrated working practices across all sectors and professions. He is also a Trustee Chair of a local charity, The Lido Centre.
In recent years under his leadership PharmaPlus has seen several major changes in developing a clinical services model and framework to further support its members.
Varinder has been Pharma Plus’s Finance Manager for over 11 years and has a substantial amount of experience in community pharmacy finances.
He has played an active role in developing PharmaPlus’ finance strategies with centralised invoicing schemes and a credit control reward system for members making the whole finance process seamless.
He is the main point of contact for pricing, supplier deals and rebates.
Ishan is the marketing manager for PharmaPlus with over 18 years of experience in the pharma industry in various disciplines including publishing, advertising, media planning and consulting.
Along with implementing strategic and marketing plans to promote PharmaPlus and its recommended suppliers, he also provides support to members for promoting their own pharmacies – competition analysis, marketing strategy implementation, budget planning, advertising (inc. print and direct marketing), managing social media as well as developing member pharmacy websites.
He is actively involved with suppliers and members alike, as well as the PharmaPlus Academy (PharmaPlus’ training wing for Pharmacy contractors/owners/managers as well as their staff), PharmaPlus Seminars and events.
Dipen is a pharmacist with over 23 years of experience in various settings including community pharmacy, commissioning, various primary care settings and training.
He is actively involved part time with PharmaPlus and devotes the rest of his working week to various clinical, surgery and teaching roles. He provides expert support on clinical matters, a practicing independent prescriber and helps develop innovative services for community pharmacy.
“Herpreet has over 15 years worth of experience in the pharmacy sector. She has started her journey in community pharmacy, working her way up to cluster lead, then moved into training and development. As an extension to this she is now working in the field of academia alongside her role in Pharmaplus and primary care.
