The Pharmacy Quality Scheme (PQS) for Community Pharmacy was introduced in December 2016 as Quality Payment scheme. It forms part of the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF).
The scheme itself is designed to reward community pharmacies for delivering quality criteria under:
- Clinical effectiveness
- Patient safety
- Patient experience
- Digital and IT standards
- Training for the team
With the current announcement of the PQS review we are guiding members step by step to ease the burden of work during the pandemic.
