The Quality Payments (QP) Scheme for Community Pharmacy was introduced in December 2016. It forms part of the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF).
The scheme itself is designed to reward community pharmacies for delivering quality criteria under:
- Clinical effectiveness
- Patient safety
- Patient experience
- Digital and IT standards
- Training for the team
The next review point is expected in Q3 2019/20, however this is to be confirmed.
